Hello. I'm Dan Winterberg.  I like making things and building teams. I’ve designed experiences for big and small companies—and have scaled successful interdisciplinary design teams at Shopify, Salesforce, and Fitbit.

I also love to teach design, mentor designers, and empower design teams to ensure they're successful designing delightful products. I'm big on being user-centered with a little bit of "wouldn't it be cool," but always anchored in research and an understanding of people. And I love working with my team — the design process is so much more fun, and the resulting design is so much better when designers work together.
